Growing up I was always fascinated with the color green. In nature, green is everywhere and there are so many different shades. I loved green so much, I thought my Mother loved green too. Every year, for her birthday, Christmas and Easter, I’d buy her green jewelry. As Mothers do, she always looked so surprised and happy. I was in my mid-30s when she finally told me, green was not her favorite color.
